Traditional Catholic Prayers: Baptism

Traditional Catholic Prayers: Baptism

MATTHEW 28
CHAPTER XXVIII.

The resurrection of Christ. His commission to his disciples.

1 And *in the end of the sabbath, when it began to dawn towards the first day of the week,

18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.
19 *Going, therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

"Consummation of the world," - the end of this age of grace and the beginning of the eternal ages with Christ reigning visibly. This is the end of the eschaton and the beginning of the eternal recreated heavens and the earth and will begin when Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ returns from heaven in the same flesh He rose with and ascended into the third heaven with, seated at the right hand of the Father. His return will be with all of His elect angels. He will raise and judge all men in the flesh and then recreate the heavens and the earth, which in that state will last that way for eternity. There will NOT be any sin in the new heavens and earth, so prepare now by confessing the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and be baptized as commanded above and shown how to baptize below and live Holy and Godly lives in sincerity and humility and meekness waiting for the Lord when He returns so that we are not like the five foolish virgins but are like the five wise virgins.

Method of Baptism

From the Didache (49 A.D. Council of Jerusalem):

Chapter 7. Concerning Baptism.

And concerning baptism, baptize this way: Having first said all these things, baptize the one to be baptized into Jesus Christ in "the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," in running water. But if you have no running water, baptize into other water [still water]; and if you cannot do so in cold water, do so in warm. But if you have neither, pour out water three times upon the head onto the one to be baptized saying at that time "in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." But before the baptism, if possible, let the baptizer fast, and the baptized, and whoever else can; but you shall order the baptized [when there is time] to fast one or two days before.

Baptism can and should always be performed immediately when there is danger of death of the one to be baptized. For instance, impending martyrdom or possible death causing illness.

See this for why Jesus Christ must be confessed as the Holy Word and Son of God: The Final Trial: Mary - revered by both Christians and Muslims as the vessel through whom God made the Word, Jesus Christ, Incarnate

The Muslim feast of Eid only commemorates the typological sacrifice by Abraham of Issac. That prefigured the final and only Supreme Sacrifice of Jesus Christ on His Most Holy Cross. It is only by the Sacrifice of Christ on His Cross that we are saved. Jesus Christ commanded, not suggested, that we be baptized; echoing the rest of the Church Fathers, St. Augustine noted that if someone could not be baptized even though they wanted it and did everything they could to be baptized in the water in name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, then their confession of faith is enough for their salvation. But no where are we allowed to refuse baptism.

All Muslims and everyone who will, are invited and encouraged to come to the water of life now and be baptized in the water and in the Spirit in name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and receive Communion.

There is no evolution, to be baptized in Our Only Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ one must believe in the truth of literal Creation by God and no pantheistic syncretism with deistic design and the rest of pagan evolutionary theory.

The Final Trial: The Truth: The coming of the Antichrist, ad-Dajjal

The Truth: The coming of the Antichrist, ad-Dajjal

Mount Damavand, in Iran which is ancient Persia, Damavand which is the center since ancient times of the most Diabolic Satanic Sorcery.

Palestine

The land of Palestine and the whole Arab homeland belongs to the Arabs.

In the Book of Deuteronomy, Chapters 28 -- 32 God explicitly tells Moses that the ancient Israelites will trangress the land covenant with God and God will void the covenant permanently and cast them out. Especially see Dt. 31:16,17

"And the Lord said to Moses: Behold thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, and this people rising up will go a fornicating after strange gods in the land, to which they goeth in to dwell: there will they forsake me, and will void the covenant, which I have made with them,

And my wrath shall be kindled against them in that day: and I will forsake them, and will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured: all evils and  afflictions shall find them, so that they shall say in that day: In truth it is because God is not with me, that these evils have found me."

Tissot - Jesus Christ prophesying the destruction of the temple

This came to pass forevermore exactly as Jesus Christ said 1,500 years later when He prophesied the utter destruction of the Temple. That destruction occurred in 70 A.D.

Titus utterly destroyed the temple in 70 A.D.

Islam came initially to the Arab people, the descendants of Ishmael, the first born son of Prophet Abraham, through the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), during the Seventh Century, A.D., and Islam spread all over the world, until the Muslims are now 1.5 billion in number, including 450 million Arabs. And the Arabs, including the Palestinians, the descendants of Ishmael were directly and unconditionally, blessed by God in the Holy Bible, and described as "Princes":

"As for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation."

(Genesis 17:20)

And

"And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of  heaven and said unto her, What aileth thee Hagar? Fear not, for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand: for I will make him a great nation."

(Genesis 21:17-18)

Persian heresy in Islam and its power play to implement the Antichrist

Persian cabalistic-Gnostic heresy within Islamic civilization goes back to the time of the Hurufi movement in Persia in the eighth century A.D. from within the Imami. It is the absolute basis of the Ismaeli heresy which has totally corrupted Egypt and Saudia Arabia down to the present. From Persia it spread to Turkey and became the Bektasiyya, who were totally immersed in Jewish Kabbalah. Centuries later Sabbatai Zvi was received there in Turkey by the Persian Shi'ite Muslim Bektasiyya, which predisposed the Sultan of Turkey to receiving and becoming the patron of Sabbatai Zvi. This led to Sabbateanism. The original, and still the core heresy and movement, is Persian-Iranian Shi'ism. It is the basis for ALL Zionism for the last 12 centuries. It is the Sephardic Zionist core and is who entrapped the Khazar Ashkenazim into Talmudic Judaism. When you speak of Iran, you are talking about the absolute basis and rulers of the synagogue who control all of Zionist Israel. There are more Rabbis in Iran than in most Jewish enclaves in the world.

Iran is very important to the Jews and the European Illuminati because it is central via its Shi'ism to subvert Islam from within. The Illuminati are behind that.

The Twelfth Imam was not revealed by Muhammad (PBUH) in the Holy Qur'an, but is an invention of men.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ warned of false prophets who come in His name. If someone claimed to be the Twelfth Imam in an esoteric Sufi sense [false sense and not a genuine sincere humble Sufi sense] and pointed to a figure like al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah of the Druze as the Mahdi he would be a false prophet and an antichrist by definition (both by definition from a Christian and Islamic point of view). When he pointed to this person (most likely an Freemasonic ecumenist) as the Mahdi who then, instead of witnessing to morality and blessing Jesus Christ, unifies both Sunni and Shia and a substantial portion of Islam around himself and strikes a peace agreement with the Antichrist (the Dajjal) in Jerusalem then this person claiming to be the Mahdi would be one of the ten horns (see Rev. 17:3, 7, 12, 16) that follow after the Beast (the Antichrist) and do his will and then there is the false peace St. Paul warned about. See: 1Thes:5:3 “For when they shall say: Peace and security; then shall sudden destruction come upon them, as the pains upon her that is with child, and they shall not escape.” (DRV)

One, an offshoot which shall arise from among the ten horns (kings or rulers), will come forward with the ten behind it and conquer three others before it and rule over seven as the eighth and this one will be the Antichrist (God alone knows at this point in time who that is). We will know when it happens. To follow or serve the Antichrist, ad-Dajjal, is certain damnation. The early Christian martyrs resisted even when it meant their death.

The Antichrist, ad-Dajjal, himself, will be a Jew and will rule his Diabolic empire from apostate Jersualem

Below: Father Sloet of Holland’s solution to the final name of the Antichrist (who will be a Jew) with medial kaph so the reign of this false “ ‘king’ of Israel” will be temporary, i.e. short.

(Note: in the below that the Hebrew characters normally read in reverse order than the English letters. Numerical equivalents are beneath the English letters.)

The Apocalypse Of Saint John

Chapter 13

[11] And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns, like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. [12] And he executed all the power of the former beast in his sight; and he caused the earth, and them that dwell therein, to adore the first beast, whose wound to death was healed. [13] And he did great signs, so that he made also fire to come down from heaven unto the earth in the sight of men. [14] And he seduced them that dwell on the earth, for the signs, which were given him to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make the image of the beast, which had the wound by the sword, and lived. [15] And it was given him to give life to the image of the beast, and that the image of the beast should speak; and should cause, that whosoever will not adore the image of the beast, should be slain.
[11] "Another beast"... This second beast with two horns, may be understood generally of the heathenish priests and magicians; the principal promoters both of idolatry and persecution - SPECIFICALLY, it is the false prophet that goes before the Antichrist as his "armour-bearer" see St. Irenaeus, 180 A.D., Against Heresies - Book 5 - Chapter XXVIII .

[16] And he shall make all, both little and great, rich and poor, freemen and bondmen, to have a character in their right hand, or on their foreheads. [17] And that no man might buy or sell, but he that hath the character, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast. For it is the number of a man: and the number of him is six hundred sixty-six.
[18] "Six hundred sixty-six"... The numeral letters of his name (the Antichrist, ad-Dajjal) shall make up this number.

The Apocalypse Of Saint John

Chapter 14

Of the Lamb and of the virgins that follow him.

John5:3 And there was a certain widow in that city, and she came to him, saying: Avenge me of my adversary.

John5:41 I receive glory not from men. 42 But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you. 43 I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. 44 How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek? 45 Think not that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one that accuseth you, Moses, in whom you trust.

The unjust judge is Satan, the widow is Jerusalem who divorced herself from God and the one she receives is the son of perdition, the Antichrist, who "comes in his own name".

The Final Trial: Mary - revered by both Christians and Muslims as the vessel through whom God made the word, Jesus Christ, Incarnate

The Final Trial: Mary - revered by both Christians and Muslims as the vessel through whom God made the word, Jesus Christ, incarnate

Mary - revered by both Christians and Muslims as the vessel through whom God made the word, Jesus Christ, incarnate

Isa al-Mesih

(PBUH),
Jesus Christ, the word by whom all has been created by God.

From the Holy Qur'an Surah and verse.

036.081 "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)!
(See also:
016.040 For to anything which We have willed, We but say the word, "Be", and it is.)

007.054 Your Guardian-Lord is God, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then He established Himself on the Throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be God, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!

This proclaims the pre-existence of the word of God

004.171 O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was an Apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in God and His Messengers. Say not "three [gods]" : desist: it will be better for you: for God is One God: Glory be to Him: above having a son [truly the Glory seen in His Son Jesus Christ but not in the pagan sense of earthly begetting of false gods such as Zeus and Leto]. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is God as a Disposer of affairs.

See these Biblical verses in agreement with the above Ayat 171 of Surah 4.

Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly vocation, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him: and without him was made nothing that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

2 Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is a Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18But we all beholding the Glory of the Lord [Jesus Christ] with open face, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Apostle is the One who comes forth from God, in this case Jesus Christ the Messiah Himself, born of the Holy Spirit and the blessed virgin Mary, as both Christian truth and Islam teach.

He is the pre-existent Word of God through whom all things were created.

And through the Messiah Jesus Christ alone is the gift of the Holy Spirit of God to all who believe in Him.

This verse from the Gospel (Injil of John) of says it - John 3:13 And no man hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man who is in heaven. (Note that this verse alone, but many others as well, makes it impossible for Mary to have been Resurrected and Ascended, Assumed into heaven with her Son at this time. That will not happen until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ from heaven in the future. Mary was buried by the Apostles in 58 A.D. just across the Kidron brook from the East Gate of Jerusalem in the place of honor for her and will wait there for her son Jesus Christ to return from heaven in the future at His Second Coming and resurrect her at the head of the saints that are  resurrected then. There are two saints who will be resurrected just before that, they are Saint Enoch and Saint Elijah, the two witnesses of God at the end of this age 3 and 1/2 days after they are martyred by the arch enemy of God, the Antichrist. These are the  The Two Witnesses Rev. 11:4 These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks that stand before the Lord of the earth. … Scripture reference – Zach.: 4:14. Neither is Mary any kind of prophetess to replace God's appointed two witnesses. The Marian Apparitions are false.)

He came forth, therefore the Apostle of God, the Word descended from heaven and became Incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the blessed virgin Mary, hence He is the Son of man - Incarnate from the flesh of Mary by the Holy Spirit, while remaining the Son of God (that is the pre-existent Word of God) now Incarnate, the son of Mary.

Therefore the heavenly host sang at His birth -

Luke 2:11 For, this day, is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God, and saying: 14
Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace to men of good will.

Notice the blessing that is upon the Christ Child and in Him and through Him on all of good will - peace. Therefore the blessing of Muslims upon Christ and His mother and the prophet of PBUH. Peace be upon him/her.

056.077 That this is indeed a Qur'an Most Honourable,
056.078 In Book well-guarded,
056.079 Which none shall touch but those who are clean:
056.080 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.

085.021 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an,
085.022 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved

043.003 We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic, that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom).
043.004 And verily, it is in the Mother of the Book, in Our Presence, high (in dignity), full of wisdom.
(The above here from the Holy Qur'an 043.003 and 043.004, is the Holy Spirit as wisdom of God, refered to as 'her' philologically in Christendom, but is emphatically He (as the Church Fathers always made reference) and is the Holy Spirit by whom the word of God was made incarnate by Mary whom she gave birth to, Jesus Christ, without human begetting and without God begetting as humans do. See next verse, below.)

019.035 It is not befitting to (the majesty of) God that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

See:
Luke:1:
26... the angel Gabriel was sent from God into a city of Galilee, called Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David: and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 Who having heard, was troubled at his saying and thought with herself what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said to her: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God.
31 Behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb and shalt bring forth a son: and thou shalt call his name Jesus.
Gabriel is relaying to Mary what God's command is. Gabriel is not commanding it. God is commanding it to be.

cf. John 1:1-5

¶ In (the) beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and God was the word.
2 The same was in (the) beginning with God.
3 All things through him came to be, and without him came to be not one thing. Which came into being 4 in him was life, and the life was the light of men;
5 ¶ And the light in the darkness shines and the darkness did not grasp it.

'Isa al-Maseeh, Jesus Christ, the word by whom all has been created by God, is by the teaching of God in the Injil (the Gospel) and the Qur'an, the all holy (always sinless - pure [Mary is also sinless by both the Injil and Qur'an]) servant of God to whom God reveals all things and who is the prophet of God which Moses foretold would come (Dt:18:15:15 ¶ The Lord thy God will raise up to thee a PROPHET of thy nation and of thy brethren like unto me: him thou shalt hear.)

019.030 He said: "I am indeed a servant of God: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;
019.031 "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;
019.032 "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;
019.033 "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!
019.034 Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.
019.035 It is not befitting to (the majesty of) God that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

Incarnation and death and resurrection of 'Isa al-Maseeh,
Jesus Christ, the word by whom all has been created by God. (verse 019.033 from above quoted passage 019.030 to 019.035)

019.033 "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!
The faith was fulfilled in the coming of Jesus Christ. The Church was established by the command of Christ by His apostles and prophets in the first century A.D. He said the gates of hell will not prevail against it. They won't.

Mt.16:18 And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
See Matthew 28:18-20.

18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. 19Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

Christ is always with His faithful, His Church and all His sheep, especially His other sheep (St. John's Gospel 10:16) who are Muslim, who hear His voice and follow Him with us. His Redemption includes all believers - Patriarchs, Old Testament Jews, Christians and Muslims.

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd.

Jesus Christ is the good shepherd over all His flock, given Him by God, the Father.

Jesus spoke

11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep. 12 But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth: and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep: 13 And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and mine know me. 15 As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for my sheep.

16 And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth the Father love me: because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. 18 No man taketh it away from me: but I lay it down of myself, and I have power to lay it down: and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Traditional Catholic Prayers: World War III and the False Peace: Commodianus - quoting oral sayings that are the root of the hadiths later in Islamic tradition for the Mahdi.

For the correct end perspective see: The Apocalypse, the Book of the Revelation and The Coming of the Antichrist and Israel is the Nation of the Antichrist = Dajjal and The Antichrist.

Traditional Catholic Prayers: World War III and the False Peace: Commodianus - quoting oral sayings that are the root of the hadiths later in Islamic tradition for the Mahdi.

World War III and the False Peace: Commodianus - quoting oral sayings that are the root of the hadiths later in Islamic tradition for the Mahdi.

The false Mahdi is very much a part of the plans of the New World Order, which is the arising of the Antichrist, to bring about the false peace pact between North and South (see the Book of Daniel Chapter Eleven for the type of it - the final fulfillment is in the future).

Commodianus - quoted oral sayings that were after the Book of the Revelation - those oral sayings are part of the root of the Hadiths which came centuries later in Islamic tradition for the Mahdi.

If so, then it appears that Elijah should be accepted as the true Mahdi when he, Elijah, returns with Enoch as the two witnesses against Antichrist.

Ante-Nicene Fathers, Vol. IV

ANTE-NICENE FATHERS

VOLUME IV

Introductory Note to the Instructions of Commodianus.

[a.d.; 240.] Our author seems to have been a North-African bishop, of whom little is known save what we learn from his own writings. He has been supposed to incline to some ideas of Praxeas, and also to the Millenarians, but perhaps on insufficient grounds. His Millenarianism reflects the views of a very primitive age, and that without the corrupt Chiliasm of a later period, which brought about a practical repudiation of the whole system. Of his writings, two poems only remain, and of these the second, a very recent discovery, has no place in the Edinburgh series. I greatly regret that it cannot be included in ours. As a poetical work the following prose version probably does it no injustice. His versification is pronounced very crabbed, and his diction is the wretched patois of North Africa [the Latin he wrote in is referred to here]. But the piety and earnestness of a practical Christian seem everywhere conspicuous in this fragment of antiquity.

The Instructions of Commodianus in Favour of Christian Discipline. Against the Gods of the Heathens. (Expressed in Acrostics.)
    XLI.--Of the Time of Antichrist.
Isaiah said: This is the man who moveth the world anti [against] so many kings, and under whom the land shall become desert. Hear ye how the prophet foretold concerning him. I have said nothing elaborately, but negligently. Then, doubtless, the world shall be finished when he shall appear. He himself shall divide the globe into three ruling powers, when, moreover, Nero shall be raised up from hell, Elias shall first come to seal the beloved ones; at which things the region of Africa and the northern nation, the whole earth on all sides, for seven years shall tremble. But Elias shall occupy the half of the time, Nero shall occupy half. Then the whore Babylon, being reduced to ashes, its embers shall thence advance to Jerusalem; and the Latin conqueror shall then say, I am Christ, whom ye always pray to; and, indeed, the original ones who were deceived combine to praise him. He does many wonders, since his is the false prophet. Especially that they may believe him, his image shall speak. The Almighty has given it power to appear such. The Jews, recapitulating Scriptures from him, exclaim at the same time to the Highest that they have been deceived.

Elucidation.

I Know nothing of the second poem of our author, and am indebted for the following particulars to Dr. Schaff.

It is an apologetic poem against Jews and Gentiles, written in uncouth hexameters, and discusses in forty-seven sections the doctrine concerning God and the Redeemer and mankind. It treats of the names of Son and Father; and here, probably, he lays himself open to the charge of Patripassian heresy. He passes to the obstacles encountered by the Gospel, warns the Jews and the Gentiles to forsake their unprofitable devotions, and enlarges on the eschatology, as he conceives of it. Let me now quote textually, as follows:-
"The most interesting part of the second poem is the conclusion. It contains a fuller description of Antichrist than the first poem. The author expects that the end of the world will come with the seventh persecution. The Goths will conquer Rome and redeem the Christians; but then Nero will appear as the heathen Antichrist, reconquer Rome, and rage against the Christians three years and a half. He will be conquered in turn by the Jewish and real Antichrist from the East, who, after the defeat of Nero and the burning of Rome, will return to Judea, perform false miracles, and be worshipped by the Jews. At last Christ appears, that is, God himself (from theMonarchian stand-point of the author) with the lost Twelve Tribes [?] as his army, which had lived beyond Persia in happy simplicity and virtue. Under astounding phenomena of nature he will conquer Antichrist and his host, convert all nations, and take possession of the holy city of Jerusalem."
This idea of a double Antichrist re-appears in Lactantius, Inst. Div, vii. 16 seqq.
This second poem was discovered by Cardinal Pitra in 1852. The two poems were edited by E. Ludwig, Leipzig, 1877 and 1878.

From CCEL

2. The second work which was only brought to light in 1852, is an "Apologetic Poem against Jews and Gentiles," and was written about 249. It exhorts them (like the first part of the "Instructions" to repent without delay in view of the approaching end of the world. It is likewise written in uncouth hexameters and discusses in 47 sections the doctrine of God, of man, and of the Redeemer (vers. 89–275); the meaning of the names of Son and Father in the economy of salvation (276–573); the obstacles to the progress of Christianity(574–611); it warns Jews and Gentiles to forsake their religion (612–783), and gives a description of the last things (784–1053).
The most interesting part of this second poem is the conclusion. It contains a fuller description of Antichrist than the first poem. The author expects that the end of the world will soon come with the seventh persecution; the Goths will conquer Rome and redeem the Christians; but then Nero will appear as the heathen Antichrist, reconquer Rome, and rage against the Christians three years and a-half; he will be conquered in turn by the Jewish and real Antichrist from the east, who after the defeat of Nero and the burning of Rome will return to Judaea, perform false miracles, and be worshipped by the Jews. At last Christ appears, that is God himself (from the Monarchian standpoint of the author), with the lost Twelve Tribes as his army, which had lived beyond Persia in happy simplicity and virtue; under astounding phenomena of nature he will conquer Antichrist and his host, convert all nations and take possession of the holy city of Jerusalem. The concluding description of the judgment is preserved only in broken fragments. The idea of a double Antichrist is derived from the two beasts of the Apocalypse, and combines the Jewish conception of the Antimessiah, and the heathen Nero-legend. But the remarkable feature is that the second Antichrist is represented as a Jew and as defeating the heathen Nero, as he will be defeated by Christ. The same idea of a double antichrist appears in Lactantius.1571572

The True Story of the Life and Death of Al-Khidr | Faith in Allah الإيمان بالله

It is important to note that a proper Qur'anic view allows only The Risen Messiah, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and Elijah and Enoch as alive today from ages past. See below for the reasoning that destroys the Immortality myth of Al-Khidr, as it should be destroyed. The Sufi view of Al-Khidr that is referred to below is nothing but Osiria-Mesopotamian pagan myth with occultic East Indian overtones. It is rife with magic and is totally wrong.

The True Story of the Life and Death of Al-Khidr

Question:
What is the correct view regarding the life of Al-Khidr and his death? Some Sufis claim that he is a part of their spiritual chain™.
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Benevolent, the Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, companions, and those loyal to him.
The Ahadith that mention Al-Khidr and his life are all fabricated, as there is not even one single authentic narration from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم about him. The “proof” that people transmit are only tales and stories of some men claiming to have seen him, so what a wonder! Is there any sign by which these men can claim to have recognized him? Most of those people are fooled when one tells them, “I am Al-Khidr,” and it is known that such news cannot be taken unless there is a proof from Allah about it. So how would someone who sees him be sure that this person is not lying?!?
The correct view is that Al-Khidr passed away, and the textual evidences from the Qur’an and the Sunnah have explicitly stated so, in addition to the consensus of scholars and verifiers, not to mention that such fact can be known through common sense. The Qur’an says:
 وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ ۖ أَفَإِن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ الْخَالِدُونَ
And We did not grant to any man before you eternity [on earth]; so if you die – would they be eternal?
[Surah Al-Anbiya 21:34]
And if Al-Khidr were still alive, he would surely be immortal. As from the Sunnah, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
Indeed, one hundred years after this night, none of the people who are on the face of the earth will still be alive.
[The Hadith is agreed upon]
And in Sahih Muslim from the narration of Jabir bin Abdullah رضي الله عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said a few moments before his death:
No living soul (living today) shall be alive one hundred years from now.
Also, Jabir رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
By the One in Whose hands is my soul, if Moses was still alive, he would have followed me.
So how would Al-Khidr be alive and not pray behind the Prophet, join the Friday prayer and fight with him? As for the agreement of verifiers and scholars – May Allah bestow His mercy upon them – many trustworthy scholars have reported this fact. Imam Bukhari was asked whether Al-Khidr and Ilyas are still alive. He said: How would that be possible when the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
No living soul (living today) shall be alive one hundred years from now.
And Ibrahim Al-Harbi was asked about the immortality of Al-Khidr, so he replied, “Whoever talks about a person who is absent, then he is not fair, and if one stands among people and claims to be Al-Khidr, then he is indeed a devil!”
Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah was asked about him and answered:
If he was alive, it would be obligatory upon him to come to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and fight with him and learn from him. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said during the Battle of Badr:
O Allah, if this group of Muslims is defeated today, no one will be left to worship you.
And it is known that they were 313, whose names and the names of their fathers and tribes are known. So where was Al-Khidr then?
He then said, “Ibrahim bin Ishaq Al-Harbi and Abul Husain bin Al-Munadi, the great scholars, stated that he was dead.”
As for common sense and logic, if he was alive, it is obvious that fighting disbelievers, and attending prayers in the Masjid, attending the Friday prayer and teaching people is much better than travelling in isolated deserts! In fact, this would be a form of insult and shame, mind alone that if it is taken to be true that a man lives until the end of days from the moment he was born before the time of Noah, he would be a great sign and a miracle that the Qur’an would have mentioned, and Allah has already mentioned the story of a man who lived 950 years and made him a sign to ponder upon, so how would it be about someone who is immortal? That is why some people of knowledge said the man who claims to be Al-Khidr and that he is alive must be a devil.
In conclusion, he passed away just like all those who passed away before, and all that is mentioned about his life are fabrications and lies. And Allah, the Most High, knows best.
